EMDR Therapy
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based modality for the treatment of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, and many other issues. It has been shown to "light up" the neural networks in the brain, enhancing the brain’s ability to access and heal trauma at a deeper level.
EMDR has shown remarkable success in helping people resolve trauma. Traumatic experiences can create deeply ingrained patterns in our nervous system that talk therapy alone might not be able to fully address. EMDR helps to reset the body’s fight-flight-freeze responses, allowing you to become more present and engaged in life.
