About Me
Hi, I’m Kerri (they/them). I’m a queer nonbinary therapist who knows how important it is to feel understood.

I came to this work later in life, after leaving a career in advertising to find more meaning and purpose. That transition also opened space for me to step more fully into my gender identity — an experience that shapes not just how I live, but how I hold space for others.

That unfolding continues to deepen my empathy for anyone navigating change, shedding old expectations, or exploring who they are beneath the surface. In that spirit, I hold space that’s grounded in liberation, justice, and deep respect for each person’s uniqueness.

My formal training is rooted in somatic psychology, with a Master’s degree from John F. Kennedy University in California. That’s where I first came to understand how trauma lives in the body and shapes our lives — an insight that changed everything for me. Today, helping people make sense of how trauma affects both body and mind is at the heart of my work. I’m a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and am currently pursuing EMDR certification.

Beyond my work as a therapist, I recharge through mindfulness, silversmithing, arts and cultural events, and time in nature — always with my cat supervising, of course.
